Cientos de personas protestaron en la plaza principal de Güiria, al noreste de Venezuela, lugar desde donde salió la embarcación cargada de migrantes venezolanos que naufragó camino a Trinidad y Tobago y ha dejado 28 muertes hasta la fecha.
«¡Justicia, justicia!», gritaban unos 800 manifestantes (según AFP) que marcharon desde la popular Plaza del Pueblo pasando por todas las calles con pancartas, silbatos y banderas venezolanas.

«Desde el momento en qué pasó esto aquí no hubo quien ayudara, quienes salían a buscarlos eran los pescadores con su poquita gasolina», indicó a AFP, Tadira Mata, profesora que perdió a 10 exalumnos en el naufragio.
Cuadrillas de pescadores siguen en la búsqueda diariamente, desde tempranadas horas del día, para dar con los cuerpos o pistas de lo sucedido.
