La empresa Panasonic presentó para el año 2010 un robot que tendrá la función de poder lavar el cabello. Esta idea es pensada para aquellas casas de reposo con la finlaidad de ayudar a los trabajadores de hospitales y asilos de adultos mayores.

El robot cuenta con dos brazos y 16 dedos que aplican y sacan el shampoo, mientras el aparato escanea la cabeza, realiza el lavado y masajeo tres motores controlan el giro, la presión y los movimientos del masaje.
